Jeremy Hamilton squatted a personal record of 733 pounds and a personal record and best at the meet in his division bench press of 507 pounds.
Alastair MacNicol also competed in the 220 pound division. His day 1 numbers were: 595 pound squat, 369 pound bench press, 705 pound dead-lift. Alastair competed again, the very next day with knee wraps, and completed a 584 pound squat with no belt (amazing) 374 pound bench press, and 716 pound dead-lift for a 1,675.5 pound total.
RAW UNITY 7 was a highly successful meet. One of the best vibes in the sport with the strongest raw lifters in the world in attendance. Sean is an NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). He is also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Sean has the unique distinction of achieving a Westside Barbell certification from elite athletic strength trainer and Westside founder, Louie Simmons.
Sean is a 3-time Ontario Provincial Boxing Championships competitor and has held over a dozen national and world raw, masters power-lifting records. Sean’s main areas of interest include advanced strength training and anthropology & diet. Specifically, his area of practical study has been successfully following an evolutionary diet in contemporary society.
